1 § The person in another state is suspected, accused or convicted of where straffbe law d deed and staying in this country may be decided by the Government extradited to the State in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

4 § Extradition may be granted only if the act for which extradition is sought equivalent offense for which under Swedish law provides imprisonment for one year or more. PROVISIONAL REGULATION
This Act comes into force on 1 January 1958. Law repeals one team a June 4 191 3 (No. 68) concerning the extradition of criminals.

  • First Denna lag träder i kraft den 1 januari 2004.
  • 2nd Äldre bestämmelser gäller fortfarande för ärenden om utlämning som har inletts vid ikraftträdandet.
  • 3 . Äldre bestämmelser gäller i förhållande till en stat som den 1 januari 2004 var medlem i Europeiska unionen och som när ärendet inleds inte har genom fört rådets rambeslut 2002/584/RIF av den 1 3 juni 2002 om en europeisk arresteringsorder och överlämnande mellan medlemsstaterna1 3 , dock endast om ärendet har inletts före den 1 januari 2005.
