Do I care? The monkey is a monkey no matter how expensive you disguise it

Step in a circle of mendacity
and one becomes cemented.
It would be slippery to move away
and it is realistic.
Once freedom is achieved
the road is straight, wide and clear
The choices are there; to pick and toss.
